Full Spectrum: A Solo Exhibition by Shiri Phillips

  • Pierce Street Art 7640 Pierce Street Omaha, Nebraska, 68124 United States (map)

Pierce Street Gallery, a new artist-run contemporary art space in Omaha, Nebraska, will open this July with Full Spectrum, an inaugural solo exhibition by founder and artist Shiri Phillips. On view from July 10 through August 7, the exhibition will feature a curated selection of Phillips’ recent works across painting, weaving, collage, and sculpture, bringing together multiple bodies of work that reflect the gallery’s commitment to experimentation, material exploration, and contemporary dialogue.

Founded by Phillips, Pierce Street Art was created as a flexible platform for exhibitions, artist-led programming, workshops, and community gatherings. Designed to feel approachable, dynamic, and creatively alive, the space aims to support both emerging and established artists while fostering meaningful connections between artists, collectors, and the broader community.

The inaugural exhibition introduces visitors to the visual language that helped shape the gallery itself. Known for her vibrant, textured works built from bold color, repetition, and layered material, Phillips works across painting and woven mixed media, often incorporating hand-painted and recycled paper into dimensional compositions. Her practice balances structure and spontaneity, precision and intuition, creating works that feel energetic, tactile, and emotionally charged.
